Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Reguroo website and platform (the "Service"), operated by EAM ECOM (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2024/262476/07) ("Reguroo", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. What Reguroo is — and is not

Reguroo is a compliance-management and information platform that helps South African businesses monitor regulations, manage controls and evidence, and prepare for audits. Reguroo provides software and general information only. It does not constitute legal, accounting, tax or other professional advice, and use of the Service does not by itself guarantee compliance with any law. You remain responsible for your own compliance and should obtain professional advice where appropriate.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed in South African Rand. Prices are exclusive of VAT; EAM ECOM (Pty) Ltd is not currently a registered VAT vendor and therefore does not charge VAT. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the Service, uploading unlawful content, or infringing the rights of others.

6. Your data & our platform

You retain ownership of the data you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data in order to provide the Service. We retain all rights in the Reguroo platform, software and content. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, and for business customers, where applicable, in a separate Operator / Data Processing Agreement.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you make in reliance on the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to the foregoing, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for non-payment.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
